The Type-054A is a modern class of frigates of Chinese origin. These multipurpose frigates are a further development of the Type-054 class. The same hull is used, but weapons and sensors are significantly improved. The Type-054A is the most numerous class of surface combattant in the Chinese navy. 100mm KSM-65

The KSM-65 is an early Cold War era coastal defense gun of Soviet origin. Development started in the later stages of World War 2 as the S-65. Although the S-65 successfully passed Soviet state trials in 1948, the decision was made in 1951 to base the new coastal defense system on the 100mm KS-19 anti-aircraft gun and add an advanced off-mount fire control system for the entire battery.

The PTS-2 is a late Cold War era amphibious cargo vehicle of Soviet origin. It is a further development of the PTS-M and is based around the newer MT-T tracked chassis. The PTS-2 is a more capable vehicle that is better suited to salt water operations, albeit in calm weather. Although most source indicate a start of production in 1985, these could have been in service as much as a decade earlier.
